I am a self-taught photographer who has been interested in photography from a very young age. My first camera was a Koday Hawkeye Instamatic that shot 126 mm film, 12 shots per roll. As a teenager I upgraded to a "real" camera and soon became the designated photographer on family trips. This led to a number of images being published in various books and magazines. A long hiatus occurred after university, the starting of a family and the beginning of a career in the aviation industry. Recently, an interest in birds and the magic of light in nature has revitalized my need to capture the images I see in both travel and in my daily sojourns into the wilds around my home. I hope you enjoy viewing these images as much as I enjoy taking them.
